The Professional and the Poet

Yuri Zhivago(Protagonist of the book Doctor Zhivago of Boris Pasternak) represented how far away the intellectuals and professionals are from matters of politics in their time. This young Doctor started his practice at the end of the last Russian Emperor Nikolai II reign and at the beginning of the First Minister Lenin government in front of Russia and the URSS, later. Zhivago was a doctor and a good poet as well, always listening the beautiful melody of his dead mother’s balalaikas in his mind! He was doctor for the white and the red army, under different circumstances. He loved his wife Tanya, she was the most serious part of his life, very attached to his profession, he had the same values for her and medicine. When he meet Lara! Yuri the Poet, the artist, the lover grew until being all the Zhivago personality! He loved both women, but was like two different Zhivago, two different men! The Doctor and the Poet! The Human and the Human crossing the fatality of this civil convulsion! Was the Poet and the love for Lara who survived these times! The Doctor was used for two different political criminals to kill humans! If it is a woman for an artist and a professional must be quite, and generous to be the receiver of a giant paint, love and meditated and very clean respect!
