The Pogrom of Buenos Aires
Called: The Tragic Week(Buenos Aires 7 to 14 January 1919)
Few people may know that before Hitler, who declared the war to the Jews and decided to exterminate them, In Buenos Aires Argentina in the year 1919, a working class strike became a complete organic and well planned pogrom, against the Jewish residents of the young new Buenos Aires. 200 Jews were murdered and more that a 1,000 wounded. They called the Jews(Rusos/Russians) in Argentina and after the Russian Bolshevik Revolution in 1917, many catholic associations with big influence in the government of Hipolito Yrigoyen, pointed out a conspiracy thinking, that the Jews in Argentina, will create a new order inspired in the Russian Revolution. Since 1917, they were brainwashing the minds of Policemen, Military and Politicians with this thought. When the protest and strike started in the Talleres Vasena, because the workers wanted new conditions for their daily working time, the reaction of the government was to go and search for each Jew they could find and kill them after torturing him! They burned their houses and everything that represented the Jewish presence in Buenos Aires! This historical fact was always hidden, especially by the Peronistas, who called themselves the defenders of the workers and minority.Pinie Wald, a Jewish journalist, lost his newspaper written in Yiddish(The building was burn and devastated)during this tragic week wrote a book titled: Koschmar (Nightmare in Yiddish). In one of his pages is written: In the central police department, fifty men, tired of flogging, took turns for each Jew. With matches they burned the Jews knees while they pierced their open wounds with pins. "At the 7th police station they urinate in their mouths."I can only add: “Where there is ignorance and stupidity(ignorance that produces violence) will be always a danger for every single Jew that is there”.
